International Social Innovation Research Conference
The 6th International Social Innovation Research Conference (ISIRC) 1-3rd Sept 2014 is an open conference that brings together scholars from around the globe to discuss the role of innovation in social businesses, social movements, not-for-profits, state actors, and the broader social economy. It is being held at the University of Northampton.
The three-day conference will feature a variety of papers from leading industry experts and University of Northampton staff and students, covering topics including health and wellbeing, science and sustainability and politics and ethics. The event features two high profile keynote speakers; Marina Kim, Co-Founder and Executive Director of AshokaU (a worldwide network of universities dedicated to teaching and developing social innovation), and Professor Alex Nicholls, an internationally recognised Professor in Social Entrepreneurship from Oxford University.
